Like his counterpart, Hitatron, Welder transforms into a futuristic hand held
weapon resembling a shotgun. However this form is rarely, if ever, used to cause
damage. Most of the time it is used as a medical, or even construction instrument.
When it is used as a weapon, the effects vary from a slicing laser torch, to a
disruptive ion and particle cannon. In robot mode, his weapon barrel is attached to
his forearm, and is usd as his primary medical insrtument. As a nurse, his medical
knowledge is not as in depth by comparison most Cybertronian doctors, but excells
for his feild. His hands can retract and be replaced with a variety of inbuilt
tools.
Welder is neither very strong or fast, and dreads each encounter LONAC has with Spectral Death. This is no doubt because the crew of Spectral Death, as far as appearance goes, resemble those of whom he had called friends. Often still feels uncormfortable around his new comrades, as they resemble those he called enemies.
