In motorcycle mode, Junky can reach speeds of up to 200kph. He is
equipped with a sensor array that allows him to see much more of the
electromagnetic spectrum than the Cybertronian norm. It is mounted under
the headlight in motorcycle mode, and is attached to his face in robot
mode. His motorcycle mode is also equipped with twin laser-pulse emittors
located on either side of the chassis. In robot mode, LaFord is usually
more concerned with engineering problems than battle but still has access
to the emittors which can also be fine-tuned to heating, cutting, and
welding modes. A handy adaptation for field applications. Junky LaFord is not much of a warrior, and so is not very useful in battle. He sometimes gets so involved in a project that he tends to ignore all else, sometime neglecting his other duties.
