Maximus Prime is one of the League's most powerful warriors. He is a mastermind on the battlefield and an expert in hand-to-hand combat. He carries a powerful plasma rifle which has the ability to peirce through most armors. He transforms into a powerful armored truck with trailer. The trailer can separately transform into a mobile battle station.

Maximus was discharged from the Autobots after leaving a captured Decepticon brain-dead after a torture session. Bearing Optimus Prime and the Autobots no ill will, Maximus left them in peace. Still wanting to "fight the good fight", he joined LONAC, where he knew his vicious fighting style would be appreciated.

Though ruthless where is his enemies are concerned, Maximus is the soul of gentleness with his friends and allies.

Maximus Prime has given up his League membership to pursue a personal matter.
