"There is no burden I can’t bear."
Untrusting and gruff, Deadlift was once a Decepticon serving on Cybertron. During an energon raid led by Commander Shockwave, the Decepticons were met by Autobot resistance. After a long skermish, the Decepticons began to retreat, with the exception of Deadlift who was carrying a load of energon cubes, which were greatly slowing him down. During the retreat, Shockwave turned and fired on the cubes Deadlift was hauling, forcing the Autobot forces back, and nearly destroying Deadlift. The Decepticons gathered their remaining troops and left Deadlift for dead. After a few hours, he began to regain mobility and headed for safety where he could repair himself. Some Autobots found him, took him in, and repaired him. Realizing that he had been sacrificed by the leader he once trusted and respected, he disassociated himself from the Decpeticons and went off on his own. Eventually, he ran across Blacknife, a member of LONAC, a group of non-aligned Cybertronians. He went with Blacknife and joined the group hoping to find the place where he felt he belonged.
Deadlift is very powerful in both forklift and robot mode. He is equipped with a heavy laser rifle, capable of taking down even the biggest of target. His forks are next to indestructable, and he uses them for ramming as well as lifting.
