Comments: This was a paid comission from Ryan Killian (aka LordCyKill) that was a lot of fun to do, and very challenging in places. The goal was to create box art for a Transformers Classics style version of Leader-1 from GoBots, to go along with a kitbash of Classics Starscream someone else was working on.
Unfortunately, the toy was never completed, but you can see the box mockup I completed below, including a rather poor digibash I made to fit in to the window cutout. Really, it was never intended to be more than a stand-in. Ah well. As on the GoBot cardbacks, photos of the toy in various modes and poses would have fit in to the three sections of the orange octagon shape.
The box was a real challenge itself, trying to recreate the GoBot card back, but expanded to apply to a wider box shape. I also recreated the GoBots toy logo, instead of my original plan to just clean up a scan of it and insert it.
